Hi, there! Thank you SO much for stopping in! Here are the basics....I'm 33 years old, am happily married to my best friend, Wes, and together we have two silly little girls who light up our lives! (Abree and Kenzie!!)

One word to describe myself......I suppose it would have to be eclectic. My interests and passions seem to span a rather broad and random spectrum. Just take my journey to photography as an example.....

After graduating from high school, I played college basketball for a bit at UAFS, before deciding I missed home a little too much. So I transferred back home, to Arkansas Tech, and majored in Physical Science Education. In college, I waitressed (which I always say was my best training in dealing with people!) When I met and married my husband, I took a bit of a break from college and followed him around for a couple of years, as he pursued dreams of minor league baseball. When that season of our lives came to an end, I finally graduated, and taught high school science. A couple of years later, I received a masters degree in library media, and took my dream job, running a middle school library. I love books, and am indeed passionate about reading. But, when I delved into the world of photography, something within me changed. While being a librarian was still a great job, it suddenly wasn't enough. So, I gave up the best job I ever had to pursue something that felt more like a force, than a job. Photography HAS been a force in my life, blowing in, nearly unexpected, and has rocked the boat of my safe little life plan in many wonderful ways.

I guess the safe plan isn't always the best plan, though, is it?!!

I've shot almost 100 weddings since I began this crazy adventure, and countless portrait sessions. Each person has left an indelible stamp on my life. Each life I've encountered has felt right, like I belong in this place, doing this thing. And there is happiness and peace in that knowledge.
